Los Teros confirm lineup for Paraguay

Esteban Meneses has selected his team to play against Paraguay at the Estadio Héroes de Curupaytí in Asunción on Saturday. The match doubles as the opening round of the South American ‘A’ Championship and also a qualifier for Rugby World Cup 2019.

Included in the match day squad are nine players who took part in Rugby World Cup 2015. The team is captained by Alejandro Nieto in the absence of the injured Juan Manuel Gaminara. Italy-based Franco Lamanna is part of an imposing back row unit and Oyonnax Academy second row Manuel Leindekar is on the bench. Meanwhile in the backs Nicolas Freitas is named on the wing after training with the Jaguares during the week.

Kickoff is set at 3:30pm local time and the match will be broadcast by DirecTV.
