Los Pumas 7’s Head Coach, Santiago Goméz Cora has named his roster for upcoming international activity. Argentina will compete at the Paris 7’s and London 7’s events this month. They are the final two events of the HSBC Sevens Series for the 2016-2017 season.
Gómez Cora’s side enter the European events in 8th position. Captain Gastón Revol commented that “in regards to the ranking, the objective is to remain at all times within the Top 8 positions”.
The Paris 7’s will be played on May 13-14 and the London 7’s on May 20-21. Argentina will take on New Zealand, Wales and the USA in pool play in Paris. The USA are coming off a bitter-sweet loss to Canada in the Singapore 7’s Final. The Canadians will take on Japan, Scotland and South Africa in the pool stage.
