The growing popularity of rugby in Brazil continues to bring positive gains for the sport and local communities. A Civil Society initiative now underway in Brazil will see HURRA! working together with the Fundação Casa, an entity responsible for seeking to resocialize juvenile offenders.

HURRA! held an inaugural class at Fundação Casa this week. It involved the participation of San Bernardo club, Templários Rugby and UFABC Leprechauns Rugby. Also present was 2016 Rugby Sevens Olympian Andre Luiz. Together they presented the sport was as being about inclusion and dedication.

Founded in 2009 HURRA!’ stated mission is to be an agent promoting sport, specifically educational sport as a means of transforming an individual and their social environment.
