Americas Rankings – December 08 2016

Following round two of the South American C Championship there have been changes to the Americas Rankings. The updated Americas Rankings – December 08 2016 show Guatemala and Costa Rica gaining points.

Costa Rica’s 41-10 win over Panama sees Costa Rica gaining rankings points. Costa Rica has gone from 31.50 points to 32.60. It sees the country edging closer to the Bahamas. Panama falls to a new ranking of 27.71 points.

Costa Rica’s opponent in the final will be Guatemala. Los Jaguares romped El Salvador, winning 53-0 on Wednesday. With the teams exchanging rankings Guatemala has continued its climb. The updated ranking of 31.22 points sees Guatemala move ahed of the Dominican Republic and Ecuador.

El Salvador has fallen to 27.71 points. The new ranking sees Los Torogoces ranked slightly ahead of Curaçao. A win over Panama on Saturday would see an improvement. A loss would see El Salvador fall to bottom spot in the Americas Rankings. El Salvador and Panama are now officially tied.
