Uncapped Argentine back-rower Santiago Socino is one of five players currently on trial with Aviva Premiership side the Newcastle Falcons. The uncapped Argentine is the younger brother of fly half Juan Pablo Socino who is with the Pumas in New Zealand preparing for a possible international debut against the All Blacks next Friday.
From Los Matreros Santiago Socino helped the Hull Ionians gain promotion into the English National One last season. Also on trial are Scotland Sevens player Joe Nayacavou, Frenchman Louis Goullet and props Alex Foster and Adam Brocklebank.
