Three New Faces for Rugby Championship Final Round

Head Coach Daniel Hourcade named a 28-man roster for Argentina’s final match of the Rugby Championship. Los Pumas will make history by playing against Australia in London, England on October 8.

Added to the roster are Santiago García Botta, Marcos Kremer, and Manuel Montero. All three trained with Los Pumas last week but were not involved in Saturday’s home international. Also included is Facundo Bosch as an emergency hooker option.

García Botta’s selection is his first of the tournament. He has come in for Felipe Arregui who remains uncapped. Kremer debuted against New Zealand in Hamilton and the teenager is back looking for his third cap. Montero has not played since round two in Salta. His return coincides with the loss of Santiago Cordero.

Still missing is Juan Martín Hernández. The inside center was confirmed as being ruled out of the remainder of the Rugby Championship. He is expected back to face Japan in Tokyo in November.
