Colombia’s twelve athletes who will compete in the Olympic Games have been named. Head Coach Laurent Palau has named Claudia Alejandra Betancur Suescún as captain and Cindy Solangie Delgado Buitrago as vice captain for Rio 2016.
Las Tucanes will join Brazil, Canada and the USA in representing the Americas in the global event next month. Colombia will have a challenging pool. Favorites Australia head the group which also contains Fiji and the USA.
The tournament will be played at Deodoro Stadium from August 06-08.
