Argentina finished in 5th place at the Cape Town 7’s. This was the pick of the Americas’ Men’s participants. The USA finished the tournament in 10th place and Uruguay in 11th. Argentina secured 5th post with a 17-12 win over New Zealand.
South Africa were the tournament winners. The 26-14 win over France in the Men’s Final was South Africa’s first Cape Town tournament title since 2015. The tournament was the second of the season. Played in Dubai, the first was won by Fiji with Argentina finishing the tournament in third spot.
The next round of the SVNS 2025 will be played in larte January. The Western Australian city of Perth will host the tournament on January 24-26.
