Hindú Crowned Argentine National Club Champions

Buenos Aires’ Hindú club became a three-time national champion today, defeating Belgrano 38-23. In what was the team’s best performance of the season the Don Torcuato side ran-out deserved winners.

Despite Argentina now having professional rugby the match went ahead with the normal prestige of years gone by. Both clubs are home to Rugby World Cup 2015 Pumas are they are Jaguares roster members.

Involved were Pumas of the past including Hernán Senillosa who played in Rugby World Cups 2003 and 2007 and spent time as a professional playing for Clermont. He scored one of Hindú’s four tries which were two more than that managed by Belgrano. Winger Sebastián Cancelliere was the hero with two for the champions.
