De la Fuente Ruled out of Facing Sharks

Los Jaguares’ preparation for Saturday’s home match against the Sharks has been dealt a blow. Rosario mid-fielder Jerónimo De la Fuente will play no part in the fixture, having suffered an injury to his right calf in training on Monday.

The injury comes at an unfortunate time as De la Fuente had been in consideration to play outside center in place of Matías Moroni who is to play in the Paris Sevens this weekend. Also set to miss out is Santiago Cordero who joining Moroni with Los Pumas 7’s.

Utility back Santiago González Iglesias or the young Emiliano Boffelli are the leading options to play outside center against the Sharks. A further option exists in Tucumán winger Matías Orlando.
