Americas players in Pro D2 – Week 28

Javier Rojas is one of 19 Americas players set for duty in the French Pro D2 this weekend. The Argentine midfielder will travel with Albi to Bayonne before joining the Pumas for the Paris and London legs of the HSBC Sevens Series. Martín Bustos Moyano will start at fullback for Bayonne, with Benjamín Macome on the bench and Chile’s Pablo Huete starting at lock.

Six more of Argentina’s finest will play in Aix-en-Provence. Leandro Assi and Lucas Caneda run out at tighthead prop and left wing respectively for the home team. Agustín Costa Repetto is at hooker with Sebastián Poet at flyhalf for visiting Tarbes. Jerónimo Negrotto and Nicolás Vergallo are in the reserves.

Canada’s Andrew Tiedemann makes his sixth start of the season at tighthead for Bourgoin against Béziers. Felipe Berchesi is again at centre for Carcassonne, with Nahuel Lobo on the bench against Narbonne. Fellow Argentine prop Damian Arias is also a reserve for Montauban, and Demián Panizzo starts at lock for opponents Colomiers.

On Sunday, Stade Montois will arrive at Dax with Carlos Muzzio and Agustín Ormaechea. On the other side of the pitch will be loose forward Martín Chiappesoni and goal kicker Ignacio Mieres.
