Selknam play host to Os Cobras on Saturday. The Chilean vs Brazilian battle will see plenty of one-on-one battles between players who will be involved in the Rugby World Cup 2027 Qualifiers in July. The match is preparation for all involved. For Selknam it is also an opportunity to edge closer to the play-off’s; the Chileans are in third position.

- Os Cobras need a win to get the weight off their shoulders of being winless this season. More importantly, however is the need to be truly competitive as Brazil and Chile prepare for RWC 2027 Qualifiers in July.

The new home of Selknam, CAAR has been a fortress for the Chileans this season. Selknam have recorded two big wins over Argentine opposition and one narrow defeat, also against an Argentine opponent. Selknam showed a willingness to play open rugby and came away with plenty of impressive tries. Their Brazilian opponents will need to be sharp against the enterprising play-making and hard-running Chileans. Os Cobras are yet to register a win this season. Selknam are favorites to win at home.
