Buenos Aires will be the center of the Super Rugby Americas universe on Friday. SRA leaders Los Pampas play host to the defending champions, Los Dogos in the opening fixture of the second half of the regular season. The last time the teams met there was no winner; they competed to a 20-20 draw in Córdoba.

- Dogos scrum-half Agustin Moyano and fullback Mateo Sánchez are tied for top try-scorer with 5 each. Justo Piccardo has 4 tries for Pampas.
- Uruguayan Francisco González will referee the match. He has refereed more than 150 matches on the SVNS circuit, demonstrating his command of the English language.
- The match will be the second time the teams have faced-off in SRA 2025. The prior match was a draw.
- Los Dogos have dominated the results with 6 wins from previous 8 meetings. Los Pampas’ one win was a convincing 37-15 scoreline in 2024.
- Los cordobeses are without Franco Rosetto who was suspended following his red card against Yacare. He has been replaced by Lautaro Cipriani.
- The only other change to Los Dogos comes at outside center with Leonado Gea Salim taking over from Agustín Segura who was injured against Yacare.

The two teams locked horns in the first round. The realist was a draw. Now in the eight round of the season the Buenos Aires side have home advantage and are top of the table. Los Dogos have two wins thus far in the season; yet, have not been beaten soundly. It may well be a matter of time when Los Dogos can put together consistent performances. Los Pampas are favorites to win at home.
