Gloucester are into the final eight of the European Challenge Cup. The English Premiership side recorded a 24-17 away win over Montpellier on Saturday. Puma Santi Carreras was involved in the play-making and scored nine points.
Glocuester’s win came despite a poor start. The Cherry and Whites conceded two tries in the opening ten minutes to be 14-0 down. Gloucester’s comeback had the scores levels though Montpellier were ahead 19-14 at half-time.
Gloucester scored all of the second-half points. Santi Carreras kicked with 100% accuracy to help Gloucester book a spot in the quarter-finals. El Cordobés played the match at fullback for Gloucester.
