USA Eagles to play July Internationals in Charlotte and Washington DC.

The USA Men’s Eagles will play three home test matches in July. All will be against European opponents, two of which have secured their places at Rugby World Cup 2027. The USA will face the Netherlands and Spain in Charlotte, North Carolina and take-on England in Washington, D.C.

The July 2025 Internationals are the Men’s Eagles’ final on-field matches before the Pacific Nations Cup (PNC). The PNC will double as Rugby World Cup Qualifiers for the USA, Canada, Samoa and Tonga. Three of the four will qualify for Australia 2027 while the bottom side will face South America 2 in a subsequent qualifier. The winner of that will secure their place at the World Cup.

The Men’s Eagles begin July against the Netherlands at the American Legion Memorial Stadium, Charlotte. It will be a bitter-sweet occasion for the Europeans; the Dutch were eliminated by Belgium this past weekend in Rugby World Cup 2027 Qualifiers. Belgium will compete in recharge against three other teams. The four will fight it out for the final spot at Australia 2027.

The USA will remain in Charlotte for game two. It will be the latest fixture in a thriving rivalry; the Eagles won a hard-fought victory over Los Leones this past November. Since then, Spain successfully qualified for Australia 2027. The July 12 fixture will be the 6th test match between the countries.

Game three of July for the Eagles will be the toughest; the USA play host to England at Fiji, Audi Field in Washington, D.C. The July 19 fixture will be one-half of a double header. In addition to the USA Men’s Eagles facing England, the Women’s Eagles will face Fiji. The Men’s match against England will be the first in four years.
