Dogos vs Cobras Showdown Breaks 100 Point Mark in Córdoba

Los Dogos and Os Cobras played out a high scoring showdown in Córdoba on Saturday. The teams went beyond the 100 point mark in a match with 16 tries scored. The flurry of tries saw over 50 points scored in both halves. The team from Córdoba won the contest 80-29.

MATCH NOTES
  • Los Dogos ran in 12 tries. Seven came in the first half for a 49-8 half-time lead.
  • The scoring came thick and fast with Los Dogos backs and flankers slicing through the defense.
  • 2024 Pumita Franco Rossetti scored two tries on his Super Rugby Americas debut.
  • Agustín Segura, Aitor Bildosola, Valentín Cabral and Mateo Sánchez also all scored two tries each.
  • It was the first Dogos’ match this season in which scrum-half Agustín Moyano failed to score a try.
  • Os Cobras sneaked in a bonus point by scoring four tries.
  • The win was Los Dogos first victory at their new home of Córdoba Athletic.
