Two Uncapped Argentines Score Tries as Zebre Parma Down Dragons

Two Argentines were try scorers for Zebre Parma on Friday. Uncapped players Bautista Stavile and Gerónimo Prisciantelli scored for the home side. The Italian team were 31-21 winners over Welsh region the Dragons. It gives the team three wins in-a-row for the first time in seven years.

Prisciantelli and Stavile have both been in fine form this season for Zebre Parma. Prisciantelli was Man of the Match in Zebre Parma’s win over Edinburgh while Stavile was Man of the Match against the Dragons. The Man of the Match winner against Ulster was also Argentine; Puma Gonzalo García was named Zebre Parma’s best in the first of the three consecutive wins.

2024 saw García rising the ranks for Argentina. He became the first-choice scrum-half at the end of the year. He is a certainty for Felipe Contepomi’s upcoming training roster. The camp in London, UK will begin Los Pumas’ preparations ahead of 13 test matches in 2025. Are Prisciantelli and Stavile Pumas in waiting?
