Double Special from Sebastián Cancelliere Sees Glasgow Warriors Home

A try scoring double from Sebastian Cancelliere was pivotal in the Glasgow Warriors’ home win over Connacht on Sunday. The Scottish side downed the Irish province 22-19 in round 10 of the United Rugby Championship (URC). Cancelliere scored two of Glasgow’s three tries.

Cancelliere scored one try in each half for the Glasgow Warriors. His first was a support line which saw him cutting inside to get past the defenders. His second was also a support line; this time a loose ball popped up for him to touch down in the try zone.

Two Pumas wingers were involved in the match. Cancelliere played right wing for the Glasgow Warriors while Santiago Cordero played fullback for Connacht. Cordero had two test starts for Argentina at fullback in 2024 and one in the right wing. Cancelliere’s last cap was against New Zealand in the 2023 Rugby Championship.
