Cobras Roster Loaded With Test Players for Super Rugby Americas 2025

Brasil Rugby have named a 41-man Cobras roster for Super Rugby Americas 2025. It contains 36 players eligible to play for Brazil. All 36 of them will be available to play for Brazil in Rugby World Cup 2027 Qualifiers in 2025.

The five players north of eligible are the foreigners recently announced as having been recruited. They are prop Aoturoa Seeling from New Zealand and Argentine Matías Vidal (prop), Manuel Todaro (flanker), Augusto Guillamondegui (fly half) and Fernando Luna (center).

Twenty-five of the Brazilian players are capped by Brazil. Of them, veteran Moisés Duque notably returns from Portugal to join Os Cobras.

 

Os Cobras will open their Super Rugby Americas 2025 season on February 15 in Argentina. The Brazilian entrant will take-on rookie team Los Tarucas in their debut. Los Tarucas have also confirmed their roster for the season.
