Match Schedule for Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025

The match schedule has been confirmed for the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup. The USA will compete in the tournament opener against hosts England. The match will take place on Friday, August 22 at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland.

Defending World Champions, New Zealand will play their first match two days later against Spain in York. The same city will play host to Canada’s opening match one day earlier. Canada face Fiji in York on Saturday, August 23.

The third Americas competitor will be the debuting Yaras. Brazil make their debut at any Rugby XV World Cup against South Africa on Sunday, August 24. Brazil will do so at Franklin’s Gardens in Northampton. The venue will also play host to Brazil vs Italy on the final day of pool play. Brazil’s seance match will be against France in Exeter.

The USA Women’s Eagles will travel from Sunderland to York. The USA face Australia in York on August 30 and then Samoa on September 06. Meanwhile, Canada will travel southwest from York to Salford and then south to Exeter. The Canadians face Wales in Salford on August 30 and Scotland in Exeter on September 06.

The pool stage will be followed by Quarter Finals on the weekend of September 13 and 14. The matches will be played in Exeter and Bristol. The Semi Finals will be in Bristol one week later while Twickenham Stadium in London will host the Bronze Final and Final as a double header on September 27.

Sep 13 + 14 – Quarter Finals
Sep 19 + 20 – Semi Finals
Sep 27 – Bronze Final + Final
