Americas Teams USA, Canada and Brazil in different World Cup 2025 Pools

Three countries from the Americas will compete at the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup in England. The USA, Canada and Brazil are three of the sixteen competitors. The teams are divided into four pools of four. The Americas teams have all been drawn in different pools.

The draw was structured according to bands. They utilized Rugby World Rankings as of October 14. The World’s Top 4 were placed in Band 1 (England, Canada, New Zealand and France). Canada were drawn for Pool B and will be joined by Scotland, Wales and Fiji.

The USA were drawn alongside Australia, Samoa and hosts England in Pool A. Reigning champions New Zealand head Pool C. The Black Ferns join Ireland, Japan and Spain in Pool C.

In their first Rugby World Cup, Brazil compete in Pool D. The group consists of Italy, South Africa and France who won bronze at the Women’s Rugby World Cup in New Zealand in 2022.

The sixteen teams will play pool matches over the course of three weekends. The top two from each group will qualify for the Quarter Finals..
