Santiago Grondona Leaves His Mark Twice on Debut for Bristol Bears

Santiago Grondona left his mark twice on debut for the Bristol Bears. A week on from starting for Argentina against South Africa, Grondona scored two tries in the English Premiership. Grondona touched down twice in the try zone in the opening half against Bath.

The Bristol Bears were 36-26 winners in the away match at The Rec. The result see the Bristol Bears in first place of the English Premiership for the time being. Saracens can go top with a win over the Exeter Chiefs on Sunday.

Grondona was joined by AJ MacGinty in the starting line-up. The USA Eagles play-maker was the staring fly half for the Bristol Bears. Both Grondona and MacGinty played all 80 minutes. Grondona’s younger brother, Benjamín Grondona entered in the 77th minute.

LOS PUMAS IN NOVEMBER

Argentina’s 2024 end-of-year tour will see Los Pumas playing against Italy in Udine, Ireland in Dublin and France in Paris in November. The South Americans will prepare for the November Internationals with a three day camp in Paris from October 28-30.
