Rodrigo Bruni Scores his 1st try for Bayonne

Rodrigo Bruni scored his first try for Bayonne. The Basque side was beaten 30-27 by Bayonne on Saturday. The Argentine back-rower scored in the competitive Top 14 contest. Bruni was one of three Pumas involved with Facundo Bosch and Lucas Paulos also both playing for Bayonne.

Rodrigo Bruni and Los Pumas in 2024

Rodrigo Bruni did not play in the 2024 Rugby Championship or in the July Internationals. He is yet to play under Felipe Contepomi. His most recent cap for Los Pumas was against England in the Rugby World Cup 2023 Bronze Final.

Paulos played for Argentina again France in July. Facundo Bosch was a regular roster member under Mario Ledesma in 2020-2021 but behind others during the Michael Cheika period. Contepomi is yet to select Bosch.

Los Pumas will play three test matches in November. Argentina face Italy in Udine, Ireland in Dublin and France in Paris. The roster will be named ahead of a three day camp in Paris from October 28-30.
