On the eve of playing host to Argentina, Uruguay has released its home and away kits for 2024. The release comes after Uruguay’s home match against France. That match saw the debut of the home kit. It is in the traditional sky-blue color.
Pictured below, the first colors are a continuation of the traditional colors of Uruguayan kits. The new supplier for 2024 is Macron.
The second colors are yellow. This was also the case at Rugby World Cup 2023. Uruguay actually played in yellow in three of the four matches. Los Teros played in yellow against France in Lille, Italy in Nice and Namibia in Lyon. Uruguay played against New Zealand in Lyon in sky-blue.
Rugby World Cups 2015 and 2019 are different. Uruguay’s alternate colors in both tournaments were white. Los Teros played in white against Australia in Birmingham, England in 2015 and again against Australia in 2019 in Oita, Japan.
Shown below, the 2024 second colors are being worn below by Santiago Arata. Uruguay will debut the yellow kits in their home match against Argentina in Maldonado. Arata is out of the match with a sprained ankle suffered against France in Montevideo.
