Hong Kong Roster for Tour to Chile, Brazil and Paraguay

A 32-man roster will represent Hong Kong in South America in July. Hong Kong will tour the continent of the first-time, playing an historic three test matches. The no 2 Asian side will face Chile, Paraguay and Brazil.

Head Coach Andrew Douglas has Joshua Hrstich as his captain. Hrstich plays for the Hong Kong Football Club. The 33-year-old plays flanker. He is from New Zealand.

Of note is that Hong Kong is very likely to be a Rugby World Cup debutant in Australia 2027. Expansion from 20 to 24 teams has favored Asia; an automatic spot will go to the Asian winner. Japan has already qualified based on 2023 results.
