Glasgow with Puma Sebastián Cancelliere Win URC Final

The Glasgow Warriors are the 2024 United Rugby Championship (URC) Champions. The Scottish side defeated the Bulls 21-16 in Pretoria, South Africa to lift the URC trophy on Saturday. The title marks the second time that the Glasgow Warriors have been the league champions.

Puma Sebastián Cancelliere started on the right wing for the Glasgow Warriors. He played 60 minutes for the Scottish side before being replaced by Jamie Dobie. Cancelliere’s replacement is on Scotland’s roster for the 2024 July Internationals.

Scotland will tour North America and South America in July. The historic four Test Match tour will see Scotland playing away against Canada, the USA, Uruguay and Chile. Dobie is one of 14 Glasgow Warriors players on the 37-man roster.

Cancelliere was not selected by Argentina for the three test matches in July. Argentina will face France in Mendoza and Buenos Aires and travel to Maldonado to face Uruguay. Cancelliere’s strong season may yet see him rewarded with selection for the Rugby Championship and / or the November Internationals.
