Player recruitment and re-signings continue. Recent instances in Europe have seen player movement involving Uruguay and US test players as well as Argentine players both capped and uncapped.

Zebre Parma have secured Gonzalo García for an additional two years. Zebre Parma announced that García will remain at the United Rugby Championship (URC) club until mid-2026. The 25-year-old joined Zebre Parma from Argentina in 2022. He made his test debut for Los Pumas in 2021.

Uncapped flanker Juan Martín Scelzo has signed his first senior professional contract. The son of Pumas great Martín Sclezo has gone from the espoirs to the senior roster at Stade Français.

Uruguay’s leading hooker Germán Kessler has a new home in France. Kessler has completed a move from one Pro D2 to another. His new club is Montauban who are fighting to avoid relegation. Montauban have signed Kessler for the remainder of the 2023-2024 season. Kessler has played in three Rugby World Cups for Los Teros.
