Cobras Recruit Brazilian Eligible Luca Mignot from France

The Brazil-eligible Luca Mignot has arrived in Brazil. Mignot is the latest player the Cobras roster for 2024. He joins the Super Rugby Americas team following experiences in England and France and could be a future Tupi.

The 23-year-old was born in Germany to a French father and a Brazilian mother. He went through the French system and played Rugby Sevens for France, including participating in the Super Sevens for Stade Français.

Mignot played in England for the University of Bath and for Exeter University. He did so after moving to the UK for his studies. His playing positions are fullback and fly half. He is in São Paulo now preparing for his possible debut for Os Cobras.

Os Cobras’ have a bye this weekend. The Brazilian team’s next match will be a home game against Los Pampas on April 06 in Jacareí.
