South American Six Nations u18’s set for March 2024

The South American u18 Championship will take place in Córdoba, Argentina in March. The Sudamerica Rugby tournament will include six countries; making it the South American Six Nations u18’s.

The purpose of the competition is to help improve the level of players and teams from an early age. U18 teams will take to the field representing Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, and Uruguay. Matches will take place at Río Segundo, Córdoba from March 11-17.

The 2024 South American U18’s is the second edition of the competition. This year’s event will repeat the format from 2023. This will see matches played over a reduced time of two twenty minute halves. This enables two matches per team per game-day.

The South American regional competition will be the first of the year. Of additional age-grade competitions this year the South American u19 tournament will have the added importance of the winner qualifying for the 2025 World Rugby U20 Trophy.
