Spain to host USA in November

Spain will play host to the Eagles in November, one year after the two sides clashed in La Vila. New Leones coach Pablo Bouza confirmed on Radio Marca Valladolid that his team will take on Fiji, Samoa, and the USA on their end-of-year test schedule.

The Eagles were decisive winners at the La Vila Cup this past November, claiming a 42-12 victory over the Leones to cap a mini-tournament arranged for Tier 2 nations who had missed out on qualification for the World Cup. Both teams were absent leading players, however, which should see a more compelling contest this time around.

Los Leones are currently ranked 19th in the world and started off the new year with wins over the Netherlands and Germany, but fell heavily to Georgia this past weekend in the Rugby Europe Championship. The Eagles are ranked 17th and will not reconvene for test matches until July.
