Los Pumas will be playing in their alternate strip for their one remaining Rugby World Cup 2023 match. Argentina will take to the field against England wearing the Regimiento de Granaderos jerseys in the Bronze Final.
The battle to finish third in the World Cup will be a re-match from the opening weekend of the tournament. England were convincing winners that day over Argentina in Marseille. Los Pumas recovered to defeat Samoa, Chile and Japan to qualify for the Quarter Finals.
Pool D winners England won the pool to secure a Quarter Final against Pool C runners-up Fiji. Argentina faced Pool C winners Wales. Both England and Argentina won their respective Quarter Finals which meant Pool D was responsible for 50% of the Semi Finalists.
Argentina took to the field against England, Samoa and Chile in their traditional colors. The white and sky-blue hooped jersey has been the main jersey for 96 years. Dating back to 1927, the traditional uniform has been used for the bulk of activities throughout the year.
The two exceptions are the home warm-up match against South Africa and the pool match against Japan. Two is now three as Argentina will wear the Regimiento de Granaderos jerseys in the Rugby World Cup Bronze Final against England on Friday.
