Eagles name match day squad to face Toulouse

Scott Lawrence has named an extended Men’s Eagles match day squad for the non-cap friendly against Toulouse on Saturday. The French Top 14 giants have yet to confirm their lineup but USA international prop David Ainu’u is expected to be among those named.

Nine changes are made to the run-on side from the team that faced off against Georgia in Tbilisi last month. The most notably change sees experienced midfielder Bryce Campbell return with Tommaso Boni unavailable due to club commitments in Italy. Mitch Wilson is back in at fullback with Nick McCarthy taking over for the injured Ruben de Haas at scrumhalf.

It’s all change in the back row with Vili Helu, Bailey Wilson, and Luke White the nominated starting trio. Nate Brakeley takes over from Sam Golla at lock, and both props are changed with Jake Turnbull and Paul Mullen the bookends on either side of Dylan Fawsitt.

Kickoff is set for 7pm local time at Americas First Field, 6pm Pacific, 9pm Eastern. A live broadcast will be available on Fox Sports 2.
