Brazil Qualify for Paris 2024 Olympic Games

Brazil will compete at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. As Yaras secured their place by winning the South American qualifying competition. Played on Saturday and Sunday in Montevideo, the Brazilians underlined why they are the Queens of Rugby Sevens in the region.

Brazil defeated Uruguay, Chile and Colombia on Sunday. They results followed wins over Argentina, Paraguay and Peru on Saturday. The unbeaten Brazilians thus qualify as the top South American Women’s competitor. Runners-up Argentina booked their place in repechage.

Brazil is the sixth Women’s competitor confirmed for Paris 2024. As Yaras join Australia, France, Ireland, New Zealand, and the USA.
