Seattle acquire Adriaan Carelse from Dallas

The Seattle Seawolves is now home to Adriaan Carelse. The move sees the Rugby World Cup South African moving to Washington State from Dallas, Texas. He trades the Jackals for the Seawolves in what will be his third MLR team.

Carelse joined the Dallas Jackals from Rugby ATL. As was the case with that move his move to the Seattle Seawolves comes in exchange for salary cap considerations. The 28-year-old South African moved from the Cheetahs to MLR.

He has played fullback and fly half in MLR. He played 10 games for ATL, scoring three tries and kicking six penalty goals. He has also moved between positions for the Dallas Jackals.
