The Major League Rugby preseason match scheduled to take place in Houston on Saturday between the SaberCats and the Gold has been cancelled. NOLA are unable to field a side this weekend, with several players dealing with the effects of COVID-19. Houston will be hosting an open practice and a free clinic for kids in place of the contest.
Meanwhile the San Diego Legion have announced a noon-time runout against the Utah Warriors on Friday, February 10. The match will be played at the Elite Athlete Training Center in Chula Vista. It’s the only preseason match confirmed for either team.
Tomorrow will see the New York Ironworkers and Toronto Arrows colliding at the Legacy Center in Brighton, Michigan. Kickoff is set for 2pm Eastern time, with free admission though the capacity at the indoor venue is just 1000. There are no plans for a live stream at this stage.
