Chicago signs ex-Austin prop LaRome White

The Chicago Hounds have signed versatile prop LaRome White for their inaugural campaign. He joins his third Major League Rugby side, having previously turned out for Seattle and Austin.

White was acquired in the Dispersal Draft from the AG’s, having spent the past four years in Texas. The 28-year-old was a regular in match day squads, making 11 appearances this past season.

Equally comfortable at loosehead or tighthead, White provides valuable depth to the Hounds front row. Tightheads Charlie Abel and Paddy Ryan have already been confirmed along with a trio of hookers in Hugh Roach, Lindsey Stevens, and Mason Koch.
