MLR talent in USA Falcons roster for Fijian 7s tourney

Three players who suited up for Major League Rugby teams in 2022 will play for the USA Falcons at this weekend’s Coral Coast Sevens. The invitational tournament is hosted in Sigatoka, Fiji. Current Eagles assistant Ben Pinkelman will act as Head Coach.

Eight of the 13 names come from the USA u23 sevens side, including for LA Giltinis winger Kahanu Koi. Ex-Seawolves winger Darell Williams and current ATL outside back Nolan Tuamoheloa are the other MLR representatives. Falcons XVs tourist Pita Vi is also named.

Four players have already made their senior World Sevens Series debuts. Indiana University pair Noah Brown and Will Chevalier, the latter captain for this tour, played in Hong Kong this past October alongside Tuamoheloa and Cal Berkeley playmaker Sam Walsh.
