New York re-signs USA Falcons hooker Kaleb Geiger

The New York Ironworkers have re-signed Kaleb Geiger for the 2023 Major League Rugby season. It’s a third campaign with the club for the 26-year-old hooker, who arrived late during the 2021 season from the American Raptors, at the time known as the Colorado XOs.

Geiger enjoyed a breakthrough year in 2022. After making his MLR debut in the season opener against Houston he would play 17 games including 7 starts. His physicality earned a call-up to the USA Falcons squad for October’s tour to South Africa.

With USA Eagles regular Dylan Fawsitt also returning New York will again have strength in depth at hooker in 2023. A new third option will be required following the departure of Brazil’s Wilton Rebolo to the Western Force in Super Rugby.
