Los Pumas scored more test tries in 2022 than in 2020 and 2021. Under Michael Cheika there were notably more tries cored than under Mario Ledesma. All these tries are shown in the following video.

Argentina played four test matches in 2020 compared to twelve test matches in both 2021 and 2022. The 2022 season saw Argentina playing at home for the fist time since Rugby World Cup 2019.
Emiliano Boffelli and Juan Martín González scored both at home and abroad in 2022. Both players scored four tries in the year. The former won the award as the best Argentine rugby player for the year. He was heavily involved in Argentina’s win over England in London and over New Zealand in Christchurch. González scored in the latter.
