New England re-signs Canadian lock Reegan O’Gorman

The New England Free Jacks have re-signed Canadian lock Reegan O’Gorman for the 2023 Major League Rugby season. He returns for a second year at Fort Quincy, having made the move from the Austin Gilgronis ahead of the 2022 campaign.

O’Gorman featured prominently this past year with 12 appearances including 5 starts. Most of his playing time was in the second row though the 6’6″ (1.98m) forward also played two games including one start on the blindside flank. He was a replacement in the Eastern Conference Final against New York.

The 26-year-old won the most recent of his 6 test caps for Canada against England in July 2021. He is one of three Canadian locks who will feature for the Free Jacks in 2023, with O’Gorman and skipper Josh Larsen joined by Conor Keys from Rugby ATL.
