Seawolves book preseason games against Raptors and Orcas

The Seattle Seawolves have confirmed two preseason games to be played at Starfire Stadium ahead of the 2023 Major League Rugby regular season. Both will be played in a span of three days with the American Raptors up first on February 5 followed by Seattle Rugby Club on February 8.

A founding member of MLR, the Raptors competed under the Glendale and Colorado banners before departing the league after the 2020 season. Since then they have been an independent development program but are set to join the new Super Rugby Americas, formerly SLAR, in the new year.

Seattle RC are also known as the Orcas and are an amateur side that competes cross-border in the BC Premier League. They have provided several players to the Seawolves over the past five seasons and will welcome two-time MLR champion Eric Duechle to their ranks in the coming weeks.
