Dallas signs ex-Pumas scrumhalf Pedro Imhoff

The Dallas Jackals have revealed the next Argentine addition to their roster for the 2023 season. Former Pumas scrumhalf Pedro Imhoff has signed on. His family name is a familiar one to rugby fans, with older brother Pedro Imhoff a long-time star with both Argentina and French giants Racing 92.

Imhoff, 33, might have enjoyed a professional career himself but he opted to instead play with his home club of Duendes in Rosario. He won three caps for Argentina in the 2013 South American Championship, starting against Chile in what was current Pumas star Pablo Matera’s test debut.

Dallas now have four Argentine internationals incoming with hooker Tomás Baravalle, tighthead prop Juan Pablo Zeiss, and outside back Marcos Moroni already confirmed. Flyhalf Matías Caramuti was selected in the Collegiate Draft. Imhoff joins Eagles cap Devereaux Ferris as scrumhalf options thus far.
