Felipe Arcos Pérez called into Uruguay squad for Dubai Sevens

Ivo Dugonjic has named his Teros squad for the Dubai Sevens. The 13-man traveling roster includes one addition. Felipe Arcos Pérez joins the squad after starting against all three of Uruguay’s opponents – Georgia, Romania, and Tonga – on their European tour.

The team had traveled to Hong Kong with just 12 players after Baltazar Amaya was summoned on short notice to the senior test side. Uruguay’s first ever tournament as a core side would see them finishing in 13th place, with an historic victory over Great Britain in the pool stage.

In Dubai, Los Teros will find themselves in an extremely challenging Pool B. Along with Argentina, they will face Fiji and New Zealand. The two-day tournament begins on December 2.
