NOLA signs former Sunwolves prop Jarred Adams

The NOLA Gold have added more quality to their front row stocks with the addition of prop Jarred Adams. A former Samoa u20 representative, the 26-year-old was first choice in the No1 jersey for Northland during New Zealand’s National Provincial Championship.

Adams was three weeks shy of his 20th birthday when he made his NPC debut with Counties Manukau in 2016. He joined Auckland in 2018 and two years later played five Super Rugby games with the Sunwolves before the season was cut off due to the pandemic. He has since played for Manawatu and Sanix Blues in Japan before joining the Taniwha this year.

Primarily a loosehead, Adams can also play on the tighthead side of the scrum. He joins an impressive cast of props in New Orleans that includes Eagles pair Matt Harmon and Dino Waldren, USA Falcons tourist Brian Nault, Collegiate All-American Kevin Sullivan, and USA u23 select Trent Rogers.
