USA Falcons fullback Owen Sheehy re-signs with Old Glory

Old Glory DC have re-signed fullback Owen Sheehy for the 2023 Major League Rugby season. The 23-year-old recently played for the USA Falcons in Montevideo, and was one of three Old Glory players who traveled to Scotland to train with Glasgow Warriors.

Sheehy joined the club ahead of the 2021 season and made three replacement appearances in his first campaign. This past season he played 12 games including 6 starts, all in the No15 jersey.

DC have now formally confirmed the return of 15 players for the new season. Previously confirmed backs include scrumhalf Danny Tusitala, flyhalf or fullback Mike Dabulas, midfielders William Talataina and Doug Fraser, and wings Junior Sa’u and Peni Lasaqa.
