Toronto Arrows re-sign scrumhalf Cole Brown

The Toronto Arrows have re-signed scrumhalf Cole Brown for the 2023 Major League Rugby season. He most recently played for the McMaster Marauders in the fall Ontario University competition.

Brown joined the club’s senior academy program in 2020 and made his professional bow this past season. After missing the first three months of 2022 with injury, the 22-year-old was handed a start against New York in early May. It would be a try-scoring debut but another injury late in the game ruled him out for the remainder of the season.

Toronto have now confirmed two returning scrumhalves including incumbent starter Ross Braude. The club used nine players at the position in 2022. Canada u20 select Sam Reimer will stay with the Pacific Pride. A new arrival is set to complete the senior No9 options for 2023.
