Argentina Finalize roster for England with eye to World Cup

Argentina are ready for England. Michael Cheika has finalized a 33-man roster for the upcoming test match in London on Sunday, November 06. The roster brings together professional players from the English Premiership, Top 14, United Rugby Championship (URC), Super Rugby, and the Súper Liga Americana de Rugby (SLAR).

The roster is heavily centered on the group that trained earlier this week in Manchester. It is not identical, however, as some names that featured in the camp are not on the roster and others have been added. Veterans Agustín Creevy and Juan Imhoff are notably absent.

Cheika has named the young Ignacio Ruiz on the roster while Creevy, Facundo Bosch and Santiago Socino all miss out. The in-form Mateo Carreras makes the roster in place of Imhoff. There is a key return of Francisco Gómez Kodela from injury. It comes with Joel Sclavi suspended.

As noted by ARN, there is a call-up for the uncapped Franco Molina. He is joined by fellow SLAR players Pedro Rubiolo, and Eliseo Morales. Rubiolo is close to signing for a leading English Preniership club. He recently debuted for Los Pumas. Molina and Morales are uncapped as is Bayonne fullback Martín Bogado.
