Santiago Medrano back for Western Force in Super Rugby 2023

Following the downfall of the Worcester Warriors, the Western Force have signed Santiago Medrano for Super Rugby 2023. As such, Medrano will play a third campaign for the Western Australian Super Rugby franchise.

Medrano will join the Western Force in December. With 27 test caps to his name he is one of Argentina’s leading tight head props. He played at RWC 2019 and has started that one of his goals is to play at RWC 2023.

Medrano has five years of Super Rugby experience to his name. He played for Los Jaguares in 2018-2020 before joining the Western Force for Super Rugby AU in 2021. He is presently alone in being a Puma involved in Super Rugby 2023. Pablo Matera has departed the Crusaders to continue his career in Japan with Honda Heat.
