Santiago Arata on top of his game in France

Santiago Arata is on top of his game in France. The Uruguayan has been named as Castres’ best player of the month for September. It comes as no surprise given that he was named as Castres’ best player in Top 14 matches against Racing 92, Stade Français and Bordeaux.

Arata was again named as Castres’ best player for the team’s first match in October. Arata had a try assist, as shown below, for Castres against Perpignan.

October will be another busy month for Castres and Arata. Castres face Montpellier, Bayonne, Toulon and Clermont. The November 05 match against Lyon will be one of just two for the month of November. The Top 14 will take a break during the November Internationals. Arata’s Uruguay will tour Europe playing test matches against Georgia, Romania and Tonga.

Los Teros will want Arata wearing the 9 jersey for the November Internationals. Before then, Uruguay will play in a series of non-capped matches. Montevideo will be the setting for three matches with the Uruguay XV facing the USA Falcons on October 13, Argentina XV vs USA Falcons on October 18 and Uruguay XV vs Argentina XV on October 23.
