Mason Flesch to return for Arrows in 2023

Mason Flesch has re-signed with the Toronto Arrows for the 2023 Major League Rugby season. The 22-year-old is currently working his way back from a serious knee injury that ended his 2022 campaign in mid-February, just three weeks into the season.

Since debuting near the end of the 2021 season, Flesch has made 13 appearances for the club including 8 starts. The rangy forward continues to add bulk to his 6’5″ (1.96m) frame and he is now listed at 245lbs (111kg). Primarily a blindside flanker, Flesch is also capable of playing in the second row.

The injury also ruled the Cobourg native out of Canada’s July internationals. Flesch made his test debut against the USA in September 2021, and added a second cap coming off the bench against Belgium two months later. Younger brother Noah Flesch is currently playing for the Pacific Pride.
